PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday got a look at the Sanctuary Mount, referred to Muslims as the al-Quds al-Sharif, from the window of an inn where he met his Israeli partner Benjamin Netanyahu. “I need to indicate you (something),” Netanyahu told Modi after they shook hands before the reciprocal meeting at the Lord David inn here.

Netanyahu took Modi towards the window and pointed his finger outside saying, “This is known as the old (Jerusalem) city and the Sanctuary Mount is there. It is all little. The Brilliant Vault of Shake, otherwise called Qubbat al-Sakhrah, and the old city of Jerusalem was unmistakable from the window.

“This the support of our history,” the Israeli head administrator said. Modi was seen mindfully hearing Netanyahu’s portrayal of the place while looking outside the window. The Sanctuary Mount, a slope situated in the old city of Jerusalem, is a standout amongst the most vital religious destinations of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Arch of the Stone are a piece of the site.
